Selective Laser Melting (SLM)
Unlock the Potential of Metal 3D Printing
Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is a cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology that enables the production of fully dense metal parts directly from a digital file. Ideal for creating complex geometries, SLM is widely used in industries that demand precision, durability, and high-performance materials, such as aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors.

How Selective Laser Melting works

Benefits of Selective Laser Melting
Precision Manufacturing:
Achieve complex geometries and intricate details with unmatched accuracy.
Material Variety:
Access a wide range of metals, including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and more.
High Strength & Durability:
Produce parts that meet or exceed the mechanical properties of traditionally manufactured components.
Rapid Prototyping to Production:
Transition seamlessly from prototype to full-scale production.

Design Guidelines for Selective Laser Melting
- Maximum Dimensions: 390 x390x 290mm
- Tolerances : ±0,3 mm or within 0.4% (can be improved with post CNC-milling)
- Minimum Wall Thickness: Ensure wall thickness of 2mm for structural stability, with a minimum of 1.5mm.
- Holes and channels: M4 and upwards can be directly printed and used. Recutting the thread with a tool is nonetheless advisable.
